Outdoor Education Program at Kern River Parkway Nature Center (Hart Park)

Join us at the Kern River Parkway Nature Center (The 'Peacock House') for local learning in the beautiful classroom alongside the Kern River! We will be learning about all the life in our local Hart Park habitat as well as other areas around Kern County.  In these once a week classes, we will be doing several art projects as well as creating a nature journal while using a locally created curriculum.

There are currently 4 monthly sessions available- all classes on Fridays.  Each class session is unique and we will be building a curriculum that moves through the seasons of the year on the river.
