heather west: Heather West is an artist and educator living in Kern County, CA. She holds BAs in Sociology and Early Childhood Education. She has homeschooled/unschooled/eclecticschooled six kids and believes strongly in an active outdoor, parent-directed education. She loves adventures in her favorite state of CA and enjoys making art reflective of CA life and lifestyle. She hopes to pass on a love for local life and the conservation of wild places so that the wild will live on.
